This SSSTS training course is delivered via a virtual Zoom classroom with a qualified trainer which will enable students to complete the course at home. The course timings will remain as normal and run for 2 days. The SSSTS course timings are 9am to 5pm.

All students attending the SSSTS Online Training course must be able to access a laptop or PC to complete the course work, registration forms and test. You must also have a webcam to join the SSSTS Class.

All students attending the SMSTS Refresher Online Training course must be able to access a laptop or PC to complete the course work, registration forms and test. You must also have a webcam to join the SMSTS Refresher Class.

The official CITB SMSTS Refresher course books will be provided in a digital format for you to download.

The CITB SSSTS Training course will cover the following content:

• The Health and Safety at Work Act
• Specific site issues that challenges supervisors on a daily basis
• Effective toolbox talks
• Supervision of occupational health
• Behavioural safety

All candidates must possess a good understanding of reading, speaking and writing English. This course will be carried out in English and as such, it is important that candidates can communicate in English. 

Assessment:

The SSSTS course must be attended in full for the 2 days. The exam for the SSSTS training is multiple choice with written answers as well.

In order to pass the SSSTS, candidates must achieve 80% in their exam. If candidates score less than this, they may be able to re-sit another exam subject to meeting the required marks. We offer FREE resits for candidates who need to retake the exam only.

Renewal

The SSSTS Course Certificate is valid for 5 years and can be renewed with a 1-Day refresher course to maintain the qualification for another 5 years.
