Upon completing the SSSTS course successfully, you will be given a certificate that is valid for 5 years. If you want to retain the certificate for another 5, then you will need to take a refresher course before the expiry date on your certificate. If you leave it too late, you will have to take the full course again – which will cost you more in terms of time and money. So a refresher course is by far the best option.
